Morpheus Global University (Former South Asia University) Currently based in UK and US , Morpheus Global University has its humble beginning in South Asia University which was started in Thailand and Malaysia in 1970. It all started on June 2 1970 as a small college offering English language training in Thailand. We began under the leadership of the Members of Developing countries Education Association. As interest grew, these leaders called for a meeting of the Association on February 1, 1974. A unique aspect of Morpheus Global University’s role as one of the leading acknowledged leading private and autonomous universities is its mandate to be a “first-class institution of higher education” offering an educational experience “as the progress of the times may require.” Consistent with our presence in the most of the world’s fastest-growing and most progressive metropolitan regions, MGU fulfills this mandate by linking our values and traditions to the ever-evolving demands of modern times. While accustomed to receiving numerous international national accolades for our sustained high performance, we at MGU constantly seek new ways to increase the quality and value of the MGU Experience for our students.
